November 2017 marks 100 years since Jimmy Speirs (captain of 1911 FA Cup winning team) lost his life during World War One at the Battle of Passchendaele. He was our fallen hero and represented his Queen and country during one of the most horrific periods in our history.
To think that he captained our football club to a great FA Cup final win then went on and fought in the war is a remarkable story and to commemorate this club legend and hero we will be donating proceeds to charity.
£5 from each sale will go to the Field Marshal Haig's Own Pipes & Drums who play every year at Passchendale to commemorate the fallen, including our very own Jimmy Speirs - they rely wholly on donations
(You can find out more about Field Marshal Haig's Own Pipes & Drums here http://fmhopd.be/en/content/mission-statement).
